Master Alloys

• These alloys are normally produced using high grade primary aluminium alloyed with one other metal and supplied in waffle ingot format

Common hardener alloys	Aluminium silicon 50% – AlSi50% Aluminium iron 25% – AlFe25% Aluminium copper 33%– AlCu33% 60% Manganese aluminium – AlMn60% (supplied in splatter format)
Common modifiers and grain refiners	10% Strontium aluminium – 10%SrAl (modifier) 10% Titanium aluminium – 10%TiAl (refiner)
